Can I carry a baby into this life?- I don't think I can handle the strife- You must see it through to the end- No one else will lift the load of the pain around the bend-
I say this is that- I don't want to hear you combat- You say that is this- You don't want disruption to your bliss- Centuries pass and we have all fallen flat-
My plans ran a 100m dash- I laid under covers as they passed in a flash- Midday, I stood- And did what I could- Relief unlocks my joints, then … CRASH
Bellowing for love as we're wrenched from the womb- Tunneling for it until we reach the tomb- Do you have a dating app?- A profile that someone would tap?-
We twirl around a ball of fire- Grinning as we steadily seep into mire- Dancing the can can- Kicking our heels up to the frying pan-
I am the grower. I feed the roots, produce life. Mundane miracles? / I am the quencher. I fill the body and planet.
The air conducts them Bellowing for dominance Whispering amends
I am ignited Boiling in my chest and gut Burning in, composed out
Our soles glide on the Flesh of the planet, crushing All the life underneath
Who needs water when Earth, Wind, and Fire is on stage They hydrate the soul
As soon as exhaustion sealed my lids- Nana's corpse would corner me- Arms outstretched for a hug- Death racing through through my nostrils-
