The Great Betrayal
It was a crushing day on so many levels. It started with great expectations of a hope-filled future and ended with a devastating slap in the face. The worst of it was realizing how naïve I really had been. I felt so conned and deceived. I pride myself on being discerning, so it was a devastating revelation.

I’ve Never Been Raided By the FBI, But Donald Trump Has
You know what’s funny about dishonest, shitty human beings? They tend to have brushes with the law. Numerous ones dating back some 50 years. They have had many court cases and legal decisions that have been leveled against them. They’re almost always in the news for not-so-good reasons. One of my least favorite human beings (if you can call him that) of them all had his home in Mar-a-Lago raided today by the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Analysis of FDR's Speech to Congress the day after Pearl Harbor Bombing
Franklin Delano Roosevelt utilized a monumental event that became pivotal in the United States involvement and initial push to enter World War II. This was a reactionary speech in answer to a very unexpected attack just hours after negotiations had been in progress to keep the Pacific theater at peace between the United States and Japan. This speech is emotionally charged using a strong ethos and ties to national pride and sovereignty. FDR wants to make sure that people understand the crucial necessity to react to this in an answer that will solidify as he states in his speech “our righteous anger” as a nation for this cowardly attack.
